CorpSync Release Notes - Version 2304.60.610

Summary: This release introduces new key features as well as bug fixes and improvements. The CorpSync portal and mobile App have been upgraded.

  • Allow pushing contacts to outlook root (default) folder.
  • Hybrid solution, allowing companies to push contacts to both O365 and OnPrem mailboxes at the same time.

Push Contacts To Outlook Root Folder

Microsoft Teams “Calls” will only list contacts that are in the outlook default folder. In this upgrade We allow the company to push contacts to default folder (instead of a separate contact folder (e.g. Xyz Contacts”). Please note that this change is a global setting, and to enable it, follow these steps:

  1. First, remove all existing subscribers.
  2. Under the Settings screen, turn on the option to push to default folder. This action will change the contact folder name to a reserved name, "OUTLOOK_ROOT_FOLDER."
  3. Re-subscribe the subscribers.

Caution: Enabling this setting will cause all previously pushed contacts to be removed and then re-added. We recommend consulting with PaayaTech support before making this change.

Hybrid Solution

Migrating from on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online is a process that typically spans several months. With the current enhancements to CorpSync, we now support a hybrid solution. This allows administrators to push contacts to both on-prem mailboxes and Exchange mailboxes simultaneously.

NoteTo enable the hybrid mode, please contact PaayaTech support at support@PaayaTech.com to enable the hybrid option. Once enabled, you can create "Subscription Groups" that point to On-Prem Mailbox and Exchange Online. Members of each group will receive contact updates.

Note: for on-prem Exchange you need to have CorpSync On-Prem Services installed on an on-prem application server. To do that you need to contact PaayaTech support.
