Summary: This major release introduces significant new features, performance improvements, and UX enhancements to the CorpSync platform—specifically in Global Signature, Plug in sidebar, and overall system reliability. These updates enhance signature consistency, offline availability, customization, and control for administrators, while improving usability for end users. 

Global Signature Enhancements

A comprehensive upgrade to the Global Signature feature now allows administrators to define default signature templates for the following email types:

• Internal

• External

• New

• Reply (All)/Forward

These configurations empower organizations to deliver branded, professional, and context-sensitive email signatures across all communications.

Attention: Outlook Add-in Deployment is Required

To use the enhanced signature features—especially internal/external signature separation—customers must ensure the CorpSync Outlook Add-In is installed and updated. This Add-In applies the company-wide signature across:

• Outlook Desktop

• Outlook Web

• Outlook Mobile App

If your organization uses only the CorpSync Mobile App for the corporate contact list, the Add-In can still be deployed to show the same contacts as a sidebar within Outlook.

To refresh or install the Add-In, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Office 365 as an Office 365 Administrator.

2. Navigate to Integrated Apps.

3. Click on Upload Custom App.

4. On the Deploy New App screen, select Office Add-in from the App type dropdown.

5. Under Choose how to upload app, select Provide link to manifest file.

6. Right-click this [manifest link], copy the URL, and paste it into the text field.

7. Click Validate.

8. Continue the setup by selecting either the entire organization or specific users.

Note: It may take up to 72 hours for the CorpSync Add-In to appear in the Outlook toolbar.

CorpSync Email Signature Key Improvements

• Signature Update Timing: All signature changes take effect within one hour to minimize disruptions. Signature updates take maximum one hour to get effective for end users.

• Default Signature Type: External email template (New/Reply) is set as the system default.

• Automatic Template Detection: The system intelligently applies the internal or external template based on the recipient’s email domain.

• Internal Domain Configuration: A comma-separated list of internal domains can be defined in the General Settings page of CorpSync.

• Offline Support: Signatures are now available even when users are offline.

• Recipient-Based Templates: System automatically applies internal or external signature templates based on recipient email.

• Force Signature Update for Subscribers: Admins can trigger an immediate update for all users.

• Extended Attribute Mapping: Map custom fields like phone extension to personalize signatures further.

External Attribute Mapping:

There are 15 custom attributes in Exchange Online. They are similar to directory extension attributes known from the on-premises Exchange. They can be used to:

• create custom address lists based on custom attributes,
• add additional contact details to Office 365 users,

To use these attributes in signature, you will need to give caption and map them to the existing attribute sing the Contact Extension Attributes in Corp Sync portal's setting 

Turn on the "import Extensions Attributes"

If there is not a Signature Field Mapping predefined for the extension:

• you will need to define the extension field and the Caption of that field and turn on the Should Import button

• If there is a pre-defined Caption, you will need to map and Turn on the mapping 

In Signature template using "Insert Placeholder" you can use mapped fields and add them to template

• Global Search line: Added a unified search bar to both Contacts and Signature Templates, improving searchability and navigation.
