The CorpSync portal and mobile App have been upgraded. Below are the release notes:

 New Branding

The CorpSync logo is redesigned and changed in the portal and App Stores.

  • Logo in App Store Logo in portal

Admin Portal

Single Sign On (SSO) using Microsoft 365

Now CorpSync administrators can log in to the admin portal using their Microsoft 365 organizational account. To log in using your organization credentials, you should have Microsoft 365 Account.

  • Use the “Azure AD Login” button on the CorpSync login page (see picture 1 below)
  • Use the same email you used to log in to CorpSync before (the email should match)
  • You will be redirected to Microsoft 365 to log in using your credential account.
  • The first time, Microsoft will get your permission to allow the CorpSync App to access user information (read-only) to be able to log in using Single Sign On (SSO). (See picture 2 below)
  • If you log in as admin, please check “Consent on behalf of your organization” and click on “Accept.”

Mask Contact fields

Sometimes, the administrator would like to remove sensitive information (e.g. Home Phone number, Home address, etc.) when pushing contacts to a specific group ( e.g. Attorneys). Since this information is at the contact level, there was no way to mask or overwrite those fields. With our recent update, the administrator now can “Remove” or “Overwrite” specific contacts fields at the “Subscription Group” level, so when the contacts push to the subscribers (e.g. Attorneys), the sync module will remove sensitive information from contacts. To define a Masking Rule :

  • Edit the subscriber group; You will see a new Tab named “Rule” (see picture below)
  • Click on “Add,” and select a contact field from the list and choose an option ( Overwrite or Remove)
  • You can add as many Rules as you want
  • Save the form.
  • On the next push, the subscribers within that group will receive the modified contacts with those fields removed or overwritten.

Note: Adding a Rule to subscriber groups will cause a full Sync on the next push ( as the contact is changed) for those subscribers (all their contacts will be updated in Outlook).

Mobile App

Here are updates for the mobile App:

  • Branding: Mobile App logo is updated to the new CorpSync Logo
  • Login Behavior: CorpSync App now supports Single Sign On (SSO) using your organization’s email. In order to support both our regular login (using the subscriber’s email and password set in CorpSync) and Microsoft Single Sign On, we made changes in mobile app login behaviour as follows:

  1. First, the mobile App asks for the subscriber’s email.
  2. Depending on your company profile settings at CorpSync, it either:
    • (Regular login) Takes the subscriber to the next page to enter their “CorpSync” password or
    • (SSO) redirect the user to Microsoft Login for Single Sign On.

Note: By Default, all organizations are set to “CorpSync” login. If you would like your subscribers to use SSO to log in to the mobile App, please contact PaayaTech Support at  support@paayatech.com.

  • SSO: Subscribers can now use their organization credentials to log in to the Mobile App. We recommend that a person with admin rights to Azure once uses mobile App SSO and consent on behalf of their organization (admin consent for the organization) (see picture 2 above) so that other subscribers do not go through the same consent process (User consent).

Note: To Activate this option, you need to contact PaayaTech support at support@PaayaTech.com and request them to enable this feature. After enabling this feature, subscribers can only log in using the organization email SSO, and the option of email/password will not be available.

  • Call Display for iOS: CorpSync iOS app can now display the caller ID for the contacts within App. The App adds a “Notification” to remind subscriber to log in to the App at least once per day so that the App refresh the caller ID list on the phone based on updated contacts. Users can turn off the notification from within the App or from the iPhone Notification screen. They can also set the time of the day they would like to get the notification via the App Call Identification page accessible from the side menu.
  • Auto login: After a successful login, the subscriber will stay login and do not need to enter their password until they log out.
  • Bug Fixes
    1. Dark Mode: Switching the phone to Dark Mode is now supported.
    2. Minor bug fixes.
