The “Contacts” page is a central location to collect all matter-related external contact information. Having all external contacts allows the user to:
- Compose an email by opening Outlook email directly from MatterAlert and adding the contact email and subject.
- When setting up events/appointments, include external contacts. MatterAlert will send them a calendar invite.
Tips and Tricks:
- Type of contact can be defined at Configuration>Defaults by the administrator to allow the user to group contacts based on the type (e.g., Judge, Client Rep, Client Attorney, etc.).
- Select multiple or all contacts and click on the “Send” button to compose and send a group email.
- Clicking on the contact’s name link will open the edit form to edit that contact.
- Clicking on the contact’s email will open “Compose email” for that contact.
- Deleting a contact will remove the contact from the list.
