The MatterAlert landing page is the first screen that is displayed after the user logs in to the system. It displays a summary of information meant for the logged-in user including:
- Notifications
- Matters
- Today’s appointments
- Next seven days’ appointments
- Tasks/To-Do List
- The navigation bar on the left side displays a list of available pages that the user can navigate to.
- The search bar at the top of the page allows the user to navigate to the matter dashboard by simply typing the matter number.
- The more [+] link at the bottom right of each component takes the user to the page where they can see the complete list (e.g., list of notifications, matters, tasks, etc.).
Notifications
Users receive in-app notifications of any changes for events or tasks assigned to them. This includes any events or tasks that were added, deleted, updated, or reassigned.
- Most notifications have a link to take the user to the relevant screen.
- The user can “dismiss” the notification by clicking the “x” at the top right corner.
- The switch at the top corner can display dismissed notifications.
To see the complete list of notifications, click on the more [+] button at the bottom right corner of the component.
Note: The system can be setup – via notification templates – to send an email every time a notification is created.
