Matter Dashboard

The “Matter Dashboard” organizes the matter information in different screens (tabs) to make it easy to find and manage matter related data. Each matter has only one dashboard, which gets created when a matter is added or imported to the system. The “Matter Dashboard” organizes information in the following screens/tabs: 

  • Matter Info: Includes general information about a matter – which is usually imported from the accounting system – plus any additional information about that matter which is driven by the matter template. 
  • Calendar: Matter calendar which holds all events/appointments related to a matter.
  • Tasks: Tasks and actionable items related to the matter. Includes automated (matter template driven) or manual tasks.
  • Key Dates (Optional): Lists all important dates (e.g., limitation periods) related to the matter which are defined in the matter template or court related limitations.
  • Contacts: List of external contact information related to the matter.
  • Documents: A central repository for all important documents related to the matter.

 

NoteIf the matter template has “entities” (e.g., Parties, Motions, etc.) a plus sign [+] will be visible after “Documents” tab that allows the user to add additional information about the matter. Once one item (e.g., one party) is added, a tab with the name of that entity will be added.
