My Tasks

On the left-hand toolbar, the section for “My Tasks” will take the user to the screen to see all tasks that are assigned to them across different matters. The screen has two tabs:

  • To-Do List:  Displays the list of tasks that are assigned to the user (personal tasks or matter-related tasks).
  • Assigned To Others: Displays the list of tasks that the user has assigned to other users or groups. 

If the user changes the status of any matter related tasks (e.g., to “Completed”) from the “My Tasks” screen, it will also change on the matter dashboard. For example, if they mark multiple tasks across different matters as “Completed” they will be displayed as completed on each matters’ dashboard. 

Note: Matter related tasks cannot be created from the “My Tasks” screen and should be created from the matter dashboard.


 Delegation

Through the “Delegation” settings, the user can have access to another user(s) “My Tasks” and can manage their tasks on their behalf (e.g., Lawyer/Assistants).

Filters

The user can filter the tasks by defining the date range, selecting a different owner (if they have set up delegation), or set the “Assignee” to see tasks that are assigned to a specific person. The “Display” dropdown will show “Active Tasks” by default but can be changed to see completed tasks or tasks with other statuses. 

Export

Clicking on the “Export” button allows the user to run a report and export selected tasks to excel or PDF.
